3 MINDSET TIPS WHEN DEALING WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS

Struggling to get on top of things?! 

Feeling alone? Stuck? Frustrated? 

We have all been through it at some stage and you are most definitely not alone in the way you are feeling. The most important thing to note is that even though you will be working on your mindset, you will still have days where you still experience these emotions and feelings. It's normal, its part of the journey but its how we react to that emotion that determines how we move forward with it. 

Our first tip to practice and these go in no particular order. 

1. Gratitude!! 

Practice being grateful for what you have around you. This could be the people in your life, the family you have, the supportive friends you have. Nature because it makes you feel grounded. Your animals, the ability to get out of bed today. Whatever it is find something small to be grateful for. Start by writing 3 things a day down and slowly increase as you become more and more aware of what you are grateful for. 

2. Our second common practice in making the switch mentally is; Instead of asking yourself why me? or why does this always happen to me? Ask yourself, what is this trying to teach me? What can I learn from this journey/experience? 
I know this will be hard initially. Trust me, I found it super difficult, but it DOES get easier. 

and our lucky last and like I said in the beginning this is in no particular order but give yourself some self love. Some positive talk. Look yourself in the mirror and say little things; 'Good Morning Beautiful' 'Damn girl you are rocking it today' Boost yourself how you want others to boost you. Don't let your mood or your self worth be determined by how someone else is feeling. Let it be determined by you. ONLY YOU have the power to control how your feeling. 

And my last little tip for those of you who have gotten through this far is invest in yourself. When you have skin in the game you are a lot more likely to take yourself seriously and to work on your own mind. Why? Because you have invested into it. It's not just a freebie anymore. You have told your subconscious mind that this means alot to you.
